H-Residence II

The H-Residence, an architectural statement recently crafted by Tree House, delivers a spatial narrative rooted in minimalism and chic sophistication—further elevated through a thoughtfully curated interior intervention.

The dramatic scale of the double-height lounge is accentuated through a series of consciously composed wall elements. The gallery wall along the stairway, showcasing the client’s travel photographs, paired with the quirky mirror installation, introduces a playful character to the space. Meanwhile, the large female portrait, rendered in vibrant hues, injects a burst of energy into the otherwise muted sitting area, creating a striking contrast against the soft stone wall opposite it.

The architectural gestures of delicate form and refined detailing—seen in the staircase design and the sculptural lamp—are further enriched by the warmth of the interior palette. The tangerine sofa and rattan bench introduce a welcoming, homely character, while the soft contours of the coffee table, paired with the minimal muted stool, add a soothing calmness to the composition. The consciously chosen muted backdrop—with soft-hued walls and a neutral carpet—creates a quiet canvas that allows the teal lamp, bright tangerine sofa, and curated artwork to stand out, collectively defining the spatial quality. In harmony, these complementary and contrasting elements reinforce the architectural intent, shaping a space that feels both cohesive and uniquely expressive.

The study room maintains its masculine energy through an eclectic blend of elements. Muted hues and an abundance of natural stained wood form the room’s foundation, elevated by a vibrant carpet that introduces a vivid pop of color. The design sensitivity expressed in the coffee table and side table defines the spatial narrative—their playful, quirky legs balanced with sharp profiles and understated marble textures ensure the room retains a sense of sophistication.
