La Rosa Villa

La Rosa Villa, our second off-shore project began as a typical town house of a conventional housing society in Dubai. Our client envisioned transforming the monotonous spatiality of the house into a bold, eclectic space representing typical Mundist style. The design intent was clear—ground the space in a neutral, mid-century modern palette, and layer it with playful, artistic elements to strike a harmonious balance between calm and creativity.
Though the furniture remains minimal and mid-century in profile, a conscious composition of diverse elements elevates the quality of the living area. The neutral-toned seating zone is anchored by a vibrant green carpet, echoing the colors found in the artwork on the opposite wall. Textural contrast plays a key role— a concrete blue planter, a metallic Anna tabletop, and a transparent acrylic side table come together to form a visually stimulating yet balanced arrangement.
A distinct corner within the living space makes a bold statement by celebrating Pakistani art. An armchair, paired with the Anna table, is framed by a thoughtfully curated trio of artworks representing the richness of Pakistani culture, adding depth and narrative to the room.
Extending the design language of the living room, the dining area continues the minimal, mid-century aesthetic infused with green accents. Olive green upholstered chairs are paired with a series of artworks in varying shades of green, complemented by a large planter that anchors the corner. Natural textures, soft edges, and layers of green tones come together to create a refreshing and cohesive environment.

La Rosa Villa was a creative exploration that allowed our team to blend simplicity with bold expression. It reflects our growing comfort with integrating eclectic elements into a neutral framework, all while staying rooted in cultural relevance
